Bobby released his debut "Part of my Plan" EP, produced by Colin Swan of 80s Mod Poppers The Direct Hits, to critical acclaim in 2018. This was swiftly followed by the equally highly rated "Bedtime Stories" album, also on Direct Records. Both titles sold out in very quick order. Tracks from both have been, and still are, played on national and local radio stations across Europe and North America. The track "East London Cleopatra" is popular on Italy's state radio station, Radio Rai Uno, as well being a No.1 radio hit for a week in Albania.

 

Bobby has also appeared on records by Tiny Flaws (featured lead vocalist on the "Imperfection Blues" album, released earlier this year) and Channel Three's "This Is London / Small Flat By The Sea" double-A side single, released on Static Wax Records in 2021, working with Gabriela Giacoman and Serge Hoffman of French Boutik.

 

Dr Bird continue to play regular gigs in and around London, appearing at venues like The 100 Club, The Hope & Anchor, The Water Rats, The Pelton Arms and The Fiddler's Elbow.
