Explode The TV are a four piece indie, rock band with infectious hooks and searing live performances. Their music balances thundering catchy bass riffs and addictive melodies with sparkling dreampop guitar sounds.

The lead singer Bentley Browning founded the band in 2010 and was joined by Andi Skipsey on bass in 2011. Recent changes to the line up have seen John White join the band in 2022 on guitar and Chris Krizz on drums completing the line up in 2023.

With 4 albums already under their belts, the 4th 'Unbreakable', being recently released, 'Explode The Tv' have been gaining some exposure in Vive Le'Rock. Influences include the classic post punk sounds of early U2, Echo and the Bunnymen, and the Cure, as well as a love of britpop: Suede, the Verve, and Feeder. They have recently incorporated the dreamy and abrasive sounds of contemporary post punk revival bands including IDLES,Thus Love, High Vis, Murder Capital, and Dry Cleaning.

Explode The Tv have been wowing audiences at Finsbury Park, Farm Fest, The Camden Club, Good Mixer, Macbeth, Dublin Castle and The Amersham Arms. Previous venues include O2 Islington Academy (upstairs and downstairs), The Half Moon, Barfly and The Good Ship in London.

In 2023 the band played 13 amazing shows, 2 great festivals and released 5 new singles.

2024 has began with two overflowing Dublin Castle gigs, a sold out show at The Spice Of Life, Soho,  two fantastic festivals The Finsbury Park Festival and Farm Fest in Herts.
